A totally unforgettable experience awaits you on the frozen fjords of Kirkenes.
This is your chance to catch, learn how to cook, and most importantly EAT this mysterious creature.
The Arctic King Crab is one of the most sort after meals in top restaurants, and yet here, you get to eat the best and the freshest, pulled from the fjord in front of your eyes. You all take part in helping to saw the hole in the ice and bring up the catch. You will see how the crab is prepared by your master guide, and you will be taken by snowmobile sledge (an experience in itself) to a beautiful farmhouse by the lake.

Please note: This tour is done by snowmobile (the guide drives the snowmobile, and guests ride in a sled behind the snowmobile), rather than by diving or taking a boat.

Join us as we haul king crabs out of the crab traps! We'll embark on a cultural and historical journey along the frozen fjords by snowmobile sled to the ice caves where the crab traps are placed. After the tour, we'll enjoy a king crab lunch(for reference only, menu may vary: King Crab, Grilled Salmon, Fish Cake, 1 glass of white wine, other soft drinks such as coffee, tea, and cola, etc.). Essential equipment provided: jumpsuit, helmet, boots, mittens, and balaclava (approximately 3 hours).
